Its always hard to write about an artist’s website. Why? Because the best artist’s websites have very few outstanding features except that they present the œvre as in a sensitive and unobstructive way. The same applies to this petite website showing nearly nothing but the work itself.
Munich based artist Helga Nienburg is a painter who always refused to follow any outside constraints and temporary hypes, leading to unique impressionist paintings that are hard to classify. The small atelier in one of Munichs most lifely areas, not far away from where the Nockherberg festival takes place every year, is an impressive sign of her productivity through the years, still cramped with huge canvases and smelling from paint.
